If there is one thing that is typical Dutch, then that is the ‘stamppot’*. Easy to make from floury potatoes and vegetables. You can also make a crazy twist to your recipe super easily. Put some tomato chutney in the gravy dimple of your kale stamppot or put some onion chutney through the hutspot**. Our favourite thing to do is to put some fig chutney through the ‘hete bliksem’***.
